Before I continue I thought it would be fun to share with you guys in my monthly updates any favorites from the month. They can be pretty much anything, not just beauty related. My favorites for April are definitely Sabrina the Teenage Witch on Amazon Prime (LOVE this show!), a couple of songs Take You Home by Cassadee Pope and No Problem by Dylan Schneider (if you love country or even if you don't, I highly recommend you check out these songs. I can't stop listening to them!), and my new hobby diamond painting! You basically stick rhinestones on a sticky pattern and when your done it makes a sparkly picture. It's so cool and relaxing and I have actually fallen back in love with Audible while doing these. I highly recommend you google it. The end result is unreal. I am currently working on my third one right now.
April was not a super productive month for me product wise. I didn't really use up too much stuff. I did use up some exciting products though. My total used up for this month also isn't super impressive but I am okay with that. I am seeing that this is my normal pattern of using up product so this is good. I can't believe I have made so much progress in these shadows! I have also been reaching for Makeup Forever M-500 Ivory and the Makeup Geek eyeshadow (latte or frappe I can never remember which one it is!) every time I do makeup. They are my standard all over lid shade and crease shade. I am really enjoying them. The formulas are great and even though they are super basic colors, I think that's why they are working so amazingly well.
In the right picture there are two extra shadows. The smaller pan is Makeup Geek Shimma Shimma which I am currently using as my inner corner and all over lid shade and the bigger pan is Makeup Forever D-562 Taupe Platinum. I was using The Makeup Forever shadow over my MAC shadow stick to help me use it up and I wanted to post a picture of the progress I was able to make on it. It is such a beautiful and reflective shade.
Before I wrap this post up I was to let you know about my VIB sale win last month. I participated both weekends (Embarrassed VIB rouge here) and brought friends with me. I bought some stuff in store a couple of times as well as placed a couple of orders online. As I was going through everything I got, I realized I bought basically no makeup. I purchased one lipstick and a Stila Shimmer and Glow and that's it. The rest of what I purchased were either replacement skin care items, Beauty Blender cleanser, a travel makeup bag for my trip this summer, a few replacement brushes because a couple of mine needed to go, and a perfume for my grandma for her birthday. I was actually super proud of myself. Everyone was telling me how much they love their new makeup and I really couldn't add much because I didn't really buy any. That has never happened to me before. At this point, nothing is even really catching my attention anymore and I couldn't be more excited about it!
Have you had any wins in the last month? How are you doing on reaching your goals? Do you have any new hobbies? What are your favorites from the last month? Let me know!
