This month I have been pretty active in Makeup Rehab. If you are overwhelmed, project panning, or just looking for a community of people that won't encourage you to go out and buy all of the newest makeup releases, I encourage you to head over there. Everyone has been so kind and so supportive of everyone, regardless of how big your collection or your circumstances. It's definitely a place to go if you are feeling weak and want to add to your collection. People over there are so great at talking people out of making new purchases. It really is such a fun community to be apart of.

Just as I suspected, I didn't use up that many products this month. I have a few products that I know I will finish in the next week or so. I am very happy to have finished a foundation and a primer. Neither of which I will be repurchasing. I am also soooo excited that I finally finished that MAC lipstick and that NYX lip liner. I have been using them every day I wore makeup since I started this project. They definitely took a long time. I will definitely be thinking twice about buying lip products from now on, especially since I have so many that are almost brand new that I still have to get through.
Now for some progress pictures!
As I mentioned this is a very hard and stiff formula and it is so very frustrating. I will never buy a MAC shadow again. I personally don't love the formula and I find them difficult to blend. I honestly regret buying a lot of these shades simply because they were favorites of others. On the other hand, I am happy I don't have 5 plus palettes full of them. I can't wait for the day that I have no MAC shadows left in my collection.
On the right is my Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette. As you can see, Dim light is really the only shade that I use. I use it to set my under eye concealer. I do have to be super careful though because I am so fair. If I use too much, my under eyes look very peachy because the powder is darker than my skin tone. It is a beautiful powder for setting the under eyes. Incandescent light really doesn't have a place in my makeup routine. I am not really sure what to do with it or how to use it. I could use it as a cheek bone highlight but it seems to be very very subtle. Radiant light I have completely disregarded because it pulls straight up orange on my skin. There isn't a way to use it that works for me. After I finish dim light I might just get rid of the palette.
I have replaced NYX lip liner in Peekaboo Neutral with another NYX lip liner in the color Rose. This color works for both lipsticks so I figured it was a perfect time to use it up.
The Urban Decay eyeliners have been used by me for a few weeks now. Again, I am not sure why I wasn't keeping track of my progress. I have so many eye liners, a majority of them being Urban Decay. I picked liners that would work with the eye look I am panning. So far it's working out pretty well for me.
How is everyone doing with only 5 months left? I have definitely been very discouraged this last month. I feel like I have hit a wall. If you are feeling the same way as I am just know that I believe in you and you are making progress! Even a little bit is better than nothing. If you have been slacking off a little bit, like I have, use that to motivate you this next month!
