Inis Energy of the Sea
This is the newest perfume to my collection. I got it only a few weeks ago at a gift shop at a beach in New Hampshire. I have never heard of this perfume before and I smelled it and absolutely fell in love with it! This is said to be a unisex scent and I can definitely see this working for both men and women but the bottle does look pretty feminine in my opinion. This is actually a product from Ireland and the box has a super sweet little saying on it that I just really love. This line also has body lotion, hand cream, shower gel, etc. in the same scent as this perfume. This was pretty inexpensive where some of my perfumes are concerned. I highly recommend giving this perfume a try if you ever come across it. |
Middle Notes: Lily of the valley, Geranium
Base Notes: Nutmeg, Sandalwood, Musk, Cloves, Oakmoss
I had just discovered this store when this perfume was coming out in 2010. It was described as a rebellious and edgy scent which I immediately wrote off. Ever since I smelled it, I have had one bottle open and one backup at all times. This perfume is very inexpensive ($10!!!) so you do have to keep that in mind when you are smelling it and wearing it. It doesn't last as long as other perfumes I own and it doesn't smell as complex but it does last longer than the body sprays I own. So I would say that it falls right in the middle of both. This smells very strongly of coconut so if you don't enjoy that scent, you probably won't enjoy this scent. If you do enjoy coconut, I strongly suggest you give this a try. |
Middle Notes: African Orange Flower, Lily of the valley
Base Notes: Coconut, Woodsy Notes, Amber, Musk
I purchased a perfume sampler set a few years back because they have coupons for a free full size perfume of one of the samples in the box. I bought it because this perfume was in it. I think this is such a fresh and clean scent. I also feel that it is very long lasting. I can have this on for hours and still every now and then I get a whiff of my perfume. This has definitely earned a permanent spot in my collection. |
I think of all of my perfumes this might be the one I reach for the most. This smells fruity, fresh, and clean yet crisp in a way. I get a lot of compliments whenever I wear this scent. If you are someone that enjoys apple scents (like me) then definitely smell this one next time you are at Ulta or Sephora. |
Middle Notes: Tuberose, Rose, Lily of the valley, Violet, Green Apple
Base Notes: Woodsy Notes, Amber, Sandalwood
This perfume was actually acquired by using my ridiculous amount of points I had at Ulta. At the time this was a new scent that I thought smelled really good. I almost always enjoy the Juicy Couture scents and I haven't come across one that I didn't like. This definitely is not a favorite perfume but I like that it's sweet, flirty, and fruity. |
Middle Notes: Lily of the valley, Orange Blossom, Peony, Frangipani
Base Notes: Musk, White Wood, and Sugar
I received this perfume as a Christmas gift a few years ago from my Godmother. I think it smells nice but it definitely isn't something I would have picked out for myself. This is definitely a deeper and warmer scent than I am used to which is why I only use this in the fall and winter. I do have to not the bottle because it is so beautiful. This is definitely the most beautiful perfume bottle I have come across. |
Middle Notes: Vanilla, Honeysuckle, Hibiscus
Base Notes: Musk, Sandalwood, Amber, Peach
This is one of the longest lasting scents that I own. If I am going to an event or if I just want my perfume to last all night, this is always the one that I go for. I have absolutely no clue how to describe this scent other than delicious and warm? I am not really sure. I have gone through multiple bottles of this perfume and it definitely has a permanent spot in my collection. |
Middle Notes: Honeysuckle, Gardenia, Jasmine
Base Notes: Amber, Caramel, Praline, Sandalwood, Vanilla
I think this was the very first perfumes I ever wore! I remember for Christmas one year my mom gave me and my sister these little sets of Britney Spears' perfumes. We loved those to death! This is a scent I reached for a lot, especially in the fall and winter. It's very nostalgic and brings back a ton of memories when I wear it. This isn't a must have in my collection but I always enjoy it when I have it. It isn't super strong and it doesn't have the longest lasting power but I still think it's a great scent. |
Middle Notes: Tuberose, Cyclamen, Jasmine
Base Notes: Sandalwood, Musk, White Woods, Vanilla
This perfume is so cute! I mean look at that little puff! I actually had another bottle of this that I used up that was not full size. I got this on a super sale at Hollister and I couldn't pass it up. This perfume is definitely very floral which is strange because I am not attracted to floral scents usually. This is fresh and light and very girly. It's really a great scent for transition seasons like fall and spring. I think this is definitely overlooked and I think everyone should at least smell it. |
***I was shocked to find out there is basil in this because I don't smell it at all.
Ever since I received a sample of this perfume in a Sephora order I have been completely obsessed with it. Unfortunately for me it happens to be the most expensive perfume that I own. To me this smells just like the beach. Not the traditional sunscreen smell that beach scents usually have. To me this smells just like salt, sand and sun. I wore this the entire time that I was on vacation in Florida and every time I wear it, it brings me back to how much fun we had. This definitely won't be going anywhere anytime soon. |
Do you have any perfumes to recommend to me? If you do please let me know! I love recommendations!
